Arulmigu Shiva Shankara Jaya Kailasa Muneeswarar Peetham temple is managed by a non-profit organization registered with Registrar of Societies as Persatuan Penganut Sri Arulmigu Muneeswarar Alayam (Reg. No. 2393/96). The temple has been carrying out many religious and social activities to benefit the Hindu community residing around the vicinity.

TEMPLE DRESS CODE


Welcome !

 Please note the following requirements for entering the Arulmigu Shiva Shankar Jaya Kalisa Muneeswarar Thirukovil.

DEVOTEES MUST
·         Braid or tie loose hair firmly with a hairband
·         Leave shoes on the shoe rack.
·         Dress modestly keeping the legs covered
Please consider wearing the sari, half-sari or dhoti, as these are the most auspicious and traditional forms of temple attire.

DEVOTEES MUST NOT
·         Enter the temple with shoes on.
·         Enter the temple with loose hair.
·         Wear shorts or overly revealing shirts or tank tops.
·         Wear hats or caps.

These important guidelines help in maintaining an atmosphere of respect, purity and traditional spiritual culture. Please don’t hesitate to ask our volunteers any questions you have about the guidelines.



If you need a hairband, shawl or dhoti, please ask the information centre, and we be happy assist you. Thank you for your kind cooperation in this matter.
